Designing a Socially Distanced Halloween. Part 2
Well, we pivoted! On Saturday morning, as we were all getting ready to head to Home Depot and buy the stuff we needed to make the zipline work, my husband came up with the idea of creating a “candy cannon”. It would require a long pipe connected to a full-strength air-compressor! You feed the candy and hook up the air compressor, and out comes the candy on the other side of the 6-10 foot pipe!!!
Here are some pictures and videos. Note the caution sign!
Although we only had three sets of kids showing up, our family had so much fun! Something tells me that this will be a recurring activity every Halloween. Launching candy out of a 10-foot pipe is so satisfying!!!
